Access Options is a direct clinician to clinician and clinician to client porthole aimed at allowing Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologist reach their highest level of productivity and efficiency for clinicians and clients (child to adult) reach their highest level of communicative potential and competence.   


JUNE grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey and later relocated to the US Virgin Islands. She now resides in Central Florida.

She received her BA in Speech and a Master’s degree in Reading and Learning Disabilities from the Jersey City State Teachers College (New Jersey City State University) and then completed a second Master’s degree in Communization Sciences and disorders from Howard University in Washington, DC. Certificate and Advanced Courses in English as a Second Language-ESOL towards a Ph.D. were completed at New York University NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Humanity on the campus of Universidad del Sagrado Corazón en Santurce, Puerto Rico.

JUNE is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and has received a total of 8- ASHA “ACE Awards” for dedication in pursuing academic continuing education in acquired and degenerative adult neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders, Dysphagia diagnosis and treatment of ventilator dependent adults and children, and developmental speech and language disorders.

She has been a member of the adjunct faculty at Jersey City State, Hudson County Community, and University of the US Virgin Islands. June is responsible for implementing the 1st distance learning program for speech therapist where she designed, developed and partnered with the University of South Carolina to provide distance learning training to provide Master’s level courses and qualify 10 therapist for ASHA certification on the islands of St. Croix and St. Thomas.

June not only provided speech pathology services for the Virgin Islands school system but for 9 years owned and operated a private practice where she trained speech assistants and aids, gave in-service workshops to nurses, physicians and therapists, contracted and partnered with the local acute care hospital, home health agency, Physiotherapy, Stroke and Cardio Rehabilitation Center. June collaborated with radiologists, neurologists, nursing, and physical therapist to form an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality service in a remote setting.

June brings over 38 years of experience working in schools, nursing homes, assisted living, neurorestorative centers, home health, adult learning centers, outpatient rehab and private practice. Clients include individuals with: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Apraxia of Speech (AOS), Dysarthria, Normal and Declining Cognitive Impairments (attention, memory, problem solving, auditory processing, and executive function), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Alzheimer’s Dementia, Speech (articulation and fluency) and Language Delays (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics), Adult Dysphagia (swallowing disorders), and Degenerative Diseases, such as ALS, multiple sclerosis (MS), and Huntington and Parkinson’s Diseases which impact communications, cognition and swallowing.
